President Young highlights Manchester鈥檚 strategic focus on accessibility and student success, including programs that allow high school students to earn college credit at reduced cost and new accelerated bachelor鈥檚 degree programs that can be completed in three years, saving students both time and money while preserving valuable experiential learning opportunities. Four new members, including threealumni, have joined 麻豆原创鈥檚 Board of Trustees. D. Randall Brown 鈥87 ofFort Wayne, Ind.,returns to Manchester鈥檚 Board of Trustees after 10 years off. He spent three years asBoardChair. Brown earned his bachelor鈥檚 degreein political science and businessfrom Manchester in 1987, before completing his Juris Doctor at Indiana UniversitySchool of Law-Indianapolis.He is nowlitigationdepartment chair and Fort Wayne managing partner at Barnes & Thornburg. Healsoserves on the boards of Greater Fort Wayne, Inc., Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, and the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. BradfordAquino鈥98 of Golden, Colo.,earned his bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degrees in accounting from Manchesterand a master鈥檚 in business administration from the University of Notre Dame. His career began in public accounting, and he has since held leadership positions in the medical device community at Zimmer Biomet, CONMED Corporation and RTI Surgical. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Metron in the water industry. He served on the board for Ancilla College and assisted in leading its merger into Marian University in 2021. 麻豆原创 Students to Volunteer at NCAA Division III Men鈥檚 Basketball Quarterfinal & Semifinal Rounds in Fort Wayne

Fort Wayne will once again play host to NCAA events, this time for the Division III Men鈥檚 Basketball Quarterfinal and Semifinal rounds on March 19 & 21, 2026 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Fort Wayne has hosted five Division III Men鈥檚 Basketball Championships since 2019 welcoming four teams to Fort Wayne annually. This is the year that NCAA has planned for all division Championships to be held together in Indianapolis with the Men’s Final Four, Division II & Division III Joint Championships, and the NIT (National Invitation Tournament). This means that for the first time, Fort Wayne will welcome more teams than ever before in Division III Men’s Basketball, seeing eight teams on the road to the Championship. 麻豆原创 held its annualpinningceremony forgraduatingstudents of the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program onThursday,Dec. 11. The ceremony鈥攁 tradition among nursing students鈥攃elebratesthose who have completed the program.Theeightstudents of this year鈥檚 cohort receivedceramiclamps, inspired by Florence Nightingale, who is considered a founder of modern nursing. Gabrielle Vance of Fishers Named 麻豆原创 Honors Scholarship Recipient

麻豆原创 has announced that Gabrielle Vance of Fishers, Ind., has been selected as a recipient of the University鈥檚 prestigious Honors Scholarship Award, which covers tuition, fees, on-campus housing, and meal plan expenses for up to four years. A senior at Hamilton Southeastern High School, Vance ranks 110 out of 823 in her graduating class and has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement. Her honors include being named Student of the Month, membership in the National Honor Society and Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica, and earning the Indiana Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish. She also placed third at the district level and eighth at the state level in DECA competition. Vance serves as president of the NextGen STEM Club and is a board member on the Team Advisory Board at the Hamilton East Public Library. She is also a Spanish tutor, a member of the Hamilton Southeastern Leadership Academy, and an active participant in Key Club. Outside the classroom, she is a pickleball enthusiast and currently works as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee at CVS. Wabash High School Senior Commits to 麻豆原创, Awarded Up to Four Years of Free Tuition and Housing

麻豆原创 has announced the enrollment of Kalli Davis of Wabash, Ind., a first-generation college student, dedicated community servant, and standout pitcher who will join the Spartan softball team and Honors program this fall. In recognition of her academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to service, Davis is the recipient of the Honors Scholarship Award which covers tuition, fees, on-campus housing and meal plan expenses for up to four years. A senior at Wabash High School, Davis plans to major in Applied Mathematics with the goal of becoming an educator,whileremainingopen to serving students across all grade levels or pursuing social work. Inspired by her high school math teacher, Mr.Terheide, Davis discovered a love for math through engaging, hands-on instruction that made learning both fun and meaningful. Davis brings resilience and determination to the softball field as a pitcher, having successfully returned to the position after several years away.
