麻豆原创 to host Dr. Kyle Besing for presentation on mathematics and human intuition

麻豆原创 will host Dr. Kyle Besing for his presentation 鈥淧robability and Our Intuition鈥 on Monday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. in Wine Recital Hall.

His presentation will discuss the relationship between probability and perception, exemplifying how math and probability affect intuition and human perception of the real world.

Besing is the Associate Provost of Curriculum and Instruction and Associate Professor of Mathematics from Kentucky Wesleyan College and has a Ph.D.听in Applied Mathematics.听He enjoys incorporating humor into his projects and teachings, loves engaging students who have previously decided that they 鈥渄on鈥檛 get math,鈥 and promotes curiosity in learning.听

This event is free and open to the public.

Manchester Esports will add Mario Kart World to their list of supported titles for Fall 2026.听听 Mario Kart World is one of the largest games in the Indiana High School Esports听League (IEN) and will be supported by听the听Great Lakes Esports听Conference听(GLEC) in Spring 2027.听 麻豆原创听established听its esports team in 2019听and听has won听nine听GLEC Championship titles.听The team competes in听Super Smash Bros.
