Conference and Meetings

As an academic institution, Manchester offers a wide range of unique meeting facilities and technology services.

麻豆原创 brings something new and different to your meeting. We have auditoriums, recital halls, conference rooms, classrooms, computer labs, lecture halls and a chapel. Because of the variety of facilities, we can accommodate groups as small as 15 or as large as 1,125.

Fort Wayne

  • Auditorium – This is the perfect facility for large presentations or training sessions. The 150-seat auditorium offers video capture, a desktop computer and document camera, a 4,000-lumen projector and screen, both handheld and lapel microphones, and an inviting green room for presenters. Guests using the auditorium will appreciate the tablet desk at each chair for note-taking. We have assisted listening devices in the auditorium.
  • Conference Rooms – Flexible meeting space is a priority for today鈥檚 top events. Conference rooms can be configured to make one large conference space totaling just over 2,100 square feet, or divided into three smaller meeting spaces for breakout sessions. The large conference layout can accommodate up to 130 guests for a catered meal or 150 guests for a presentation. All three conference rooms offer wireless internet, built-in screens, digital projectors, computers, assisted listening devices and built-in audio and PA systems.

But don鈥檛 let the historic charm of the buildings fool you. Inside, we鈥檙e fully wired with all the latest technology. We can stage the most sophisticated presentations, set up teleconferencing, and manage any other technical wizardry you need. Our tech staff is on-site year-round, ready to help.

Technology Capabilities

Our meeting rooms and auditoriums feature up to date audio/visual conferencing capabilities and multi-media equipment. In addition, our North Manchester campus features 6 state-of-the-art computer labs that can host up to as many as 40 persons for group computer instructional purposes. It is a great way to provide hands-on group training including an instructor’s area and internet access.

There are many other smaller computer labs across campus, including in each residence hall, for individual use. As a guest, access to the internet is always free!

Our technology capabilities include:

  • Technical support staff – Trained tech support staff provide set-up and assistance during all events where reliable technology is critical to the success of your event.
  • Fully equipped multimedia presentation rooms – Most meeting spaces are fully multimedia equipped for video and PowerPoint presentations, with wired and wireless internet connections, multimedia projectors, DVD and VHS players and sound systems. Portable projectors and laptop computers are also available for use in any space.
  • Computer-based teaching labs – Six computer labs designed for instructional purposes can be utilized for group workshops. Each lab is equipped with a projector and screen for demonstrations and instruction.
  • Video/audio conferencing – University technology includes the support of IP video conferencing and audio conferencing in a variety of meeting facilities.
  • Live sound support – our technical staff can provide sound reinforcement for speech and audio device playback at any location on campus.
  • TV-equipped rooms – Video presentations can be made from rooms with mounted TV monitors and attached video players, or with portable equipment from any room.
