Student Scholarship – 麻豆原创 Student Chloe Steele Named 2024 鈥淩ealizing鈥痶he鈥疍ream鈥 Honoree
麻豆原创 sophomore Chloe Steele, a first-generation college student from North Manchester, has been selected by the (ICI) as the 2025 Realizing鈥痶he鈥疍ream scholarship recipient. She was honored at the ICI banquet held in Indianapolis on March 1, 2025.
麻豆原创 the 鈥淩ealizing the Dream鈥 Program
Established in 1989, the Realizing鈥痶he鈥疍ream scholarship program, funded by , recognizes one outstanding first-year first-generation student from each of Indiana鈥檚 private, nonprofit colleges. Each selected student receives a $4,000 scholarship, and nominates an influential educator鈥攅lementary or secondary鈥攚ho then receives a $1,000 professional development grant. These honorees are celebrated together at an annual banquet in Indianapolis.

Chloe is majoring in Digital Media Arts and Public Relations. Reflecting on her growth at 麻豆原创, she shared, 鈥淚 really think I鈥檝e grown in communication skills, responsibility, adaptability, and building networks. Manchester continues equipping me with tools for both career and life.鈥
After graduation, Chloe hopes to become the executive director of Daniel鈥檚 Place, a local nonprofit providing respite care for individuals with special needs. She currently serves as marketing manager for the organization, active since its founding in 2018.
Chloe selected Debra Kern, retired art teacher from , as the educator who most influenced her decision to pursue higher education. Kern received a $1,000 professional development grant in Chloe鈥檚 honor.
