Isabel Santner of Bloomington, Ind., graduated from Manchester in 1998 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in accounting. She also obtained her master鈥檚 degree in accounting from Manchester in 1999.
After graduating, Santner worked as director of real estate tax services at Katz, Sapper & Miller for 13 years. She was then a partner at Forvis Mazars for just over ten years, focusing on tax consulting and compliance for real estate developers, before retiring in January 2024.
In addition to Manchester鈥檚 Board of Trustees, she also serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County and the Board of Directors for the Children鈥檚 Organ Transplant Association.
鈥淎s a Manchester alum, the University has given me so much both professionally and personally,鈥 said Santner. 鈥淚 value the skills, knowledge and experiences I gained from my time at Manchester, and I am honored to be able to give back to the University through service to the Board.鈥

鈥淢y experience and education at Manchester shaped the person and the physician I am today,鈥 said Knaus. 鈥淭he University鈥檚 mission and values are very important for me to support. I am honored to be part of the Manchester鈥檚 Board of Trustees and help contribute to Manchester鈥檚 success.鈥
Debra Mishler
Debra Mishler of Phoenix, Ariz., is the daughter of Manchester alumni Ruth Wilson 鈥46c St. John and Virgil St. John 鈥43. She graduated from Purdue University in 1977 and later went on to earn a master’s in health services administration from Arizona State University. She has worked as a pharmacist and hospital pharmacy resident across the United States.
Although she did not attend 麻豆原创, her Spartan roots run deep. Her parents had a deep sense of philanthropy, and among their many gifts to Manchester was a chemistry lab in the Science Center. She married Rick Mishler 鈥74, another alumnus, and their two children also went to Manchester.
鈥淢anchester continues to provide the broad knowledge base and remarkable education necessary for graduates to be active participants in the global community of today,鈥 said Mishler. 鈥淚 am honored to serve as a Trustee in support of 麻豆原创鈥檚 mission.鈥
